Amazon.com Product Description
The Belkin 7-Foot Y Audio Cable attaches to your iPod or iPod cradle to let you play your tunes on your home stereo or portable speakers. Just connect the 3.5mm mini-stereo plug into your portable stereo device, then connect the RCA plugs into the RCA jacks of your stereo component or portable speakers. The cable also works with other portable audio devices and your computer's sound card. Each of the three plugs are color-coded for easy identification, and they use high-quality copper to ensure a consistent signal. Braid-and-foil shielding cuts down electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, and an aluminum undermold shield provides optimal signal integrity.

love it, so thankful that I found this, saved me from buying a docking station

Very tough.
Bought for my wife who's very bad on electronics.

I used it for an in-dash FM modulator to MP3 player.

This product performs flawlessly, no static, and is tough enough to run under car flooring.

5 out of 5 stars Looks great, sounds fine   July 19, 2008

Music doesn't seem quite as great as playing a CD directly, but at this price, the cable does a great job. In terms of looks, it looks like it should be more expensive - but it's not.

The problem with iPods is they make you fall so in love with them, you keep buying accessories to spoil them with (cases, docks, headphones, speakers, etc).

I've had these for 2 years, use them with my dock to connect my iPod to stereos for a bigger sound. I'm not really into tech jargon, so I'm not going to go into things like "conductivity", "electromagnetism" and the like. All I'll say is, the sound is really crisp and clear, as good (in my opinion, I'll bet audiophiles will beg to differ) as listening to a CD, and that's good enough for me.

They look pretty cool too, the snow white cables looking very Apple-like. Take these along with your iPod, and you'll become resident DJ anywhere.

I ordered these to play my Ipod on my Sony Stereo system. Also to plug my Vizio HD into my stereo, and they work great.

My Stereo has L & R audio in, and the signal comes in crystal clear. No buzzing. Same for when I use the headphone jack from my TV.

The cables themselves are sturdy, and plenty long enough at 7 Feet.

Good price too!
