Just received this a few days ago, and all I can say is wow!! The sound from my iPOD thru my JVC surround sound reciever is amazing! Simply stated, it does what it says it does! The direct line, provides amazing sound. Do not buy this to work with the IPHONE, as it will not. I would highly recommend this product to any of you fellow iPOD owners.

I have one of the original iPods (20GB from 2003 on battery #3) and was a bit anxious about ordering this cable; however, my fears were for naught. Plugged it into my AUX jacks and success! What a nice find - cheap, easy to use and works even with my dinosaur...

If you want to connect your ipod to a stereo in the house, or to a pa system... this is the way to go. Sound is much stronger than an rca to headphone adapter. I recommend strongly and they are the same price.

no need for an expensive ipod docking system. Plugged this into the back of my existing bose cd/radio, and the sound is perfect. No difference in quality to playing the radio or cd.

I highly recommend this adapter over using the iPod headphone jack because the dock connector provides a proper line out. Sound quality is MUCH improved and the RCA connectors allow me to use any available input in my home receiver.
Got it through a used-and-new link and the price was very reasonable compared to most off-the-shelf iPod accessories.
