Simply did not work. January 1, 2009 David B. Rich (Indiana, USA) After installing, the dock simply did not work. Not with a nano 2G, not with a nano 4G, not at all. After 3 attempts, I was able to get a scratchy signal to the receiver. The right channel was ok, but the left channel could muster only about 20% of the right's amplitude. (I verified the connection to the receiver and ipod were functional with my previous set-up.) I am an engineer with 15+ years of experience in manufacturing electronics, and I suspect that Belkin is cutting corners on quality. Too bad, because now I am going to buy anything but a Belkin unit.
Nothing Works with It! Beware December 28, 2008 David M. Peterson I just recieved this as a gift and my 1st iPod. I love the design but nothing will charge this unit. I have a new Pioneer Elite AVR with Pioneer input with iPod input. My friends older unites will all charge with everything. I just went and bought all new connectors and chargers for the house and car but none of them work. The stores had no clue. What a waste. Back it goes and I will get something else.
Meets my needs December 20, 2008 Helen G. Leddy (Florida) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wanted a dock that I could plug into a wall outlet to keep my IPod charged for use at all times. This product has been perfect for that need.
Great Product December 17, 2008 D. Sprigg 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works great for my new 4G Nano. I was concerned because the 4G is not listed as supported. I hooked it up to my home stereo and it worked flawlessly. I have not attempted to hookup the video output but did not care about that feature...
Does Just What I Wanted November 23, 2008 Bobby D. (Lebanon , NJ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I wanted a docking station which would keep my older IPOD charged while also providing line level, as opposed to headphone jack, output to my home stereo. It was easy to set up and the IPOD sounds great. I run the IPOD mainly on "shuffle songs" so I didn't need the extra expense and complexity of a dock with a remote control. The IPOD stays charged all the time and I start it up by using the IPOD control pannel. This device works like a charm.
