Portable Stereo Sound
The iHM20B features a built-in digital amplifier with two dynamic stereo speakers. When you're ready to rock, just fold out the stand, swivel up the speakers, set it down, and enjoy your tunes in full stereo sound.

When not in use, fold in the stand and speakers, and keep it in your pocket. The sturdy, lightweight case keeps your iPod protected.

Headphone Jack
On the bottom left of the speaker housing, the iHM20B has a headphone jack so you can listen to your nano privately even while it's protected in the iHM20B case. Just connect your headphones through the jack and play your nano as usual. The iHM20B speakers are disabled when the headphone jack is in use.

Internal Lithium-Ion Battery
The iHM20B has a built-in rechargeable battery to power the speakers. When the blue power light on the unit fades or goes out, it's time to recharge the battery.

When it's time for a charge, just connect the included USB cable to the USB port on the iHM20B and connect the other end to a powered USB port on your computer. A red light will appear while the unit charges and turn off when the unit is charged.

4 out of 5 stars Decent on the go speakers for the right price   January 4, 2009
J. Lin (Western Springs, IL United States)
I had gotten these speakers when there was a special gold box deal ($18). For the price, I feel like the product is definitely worth the money. I like the rechargeable battery (cuts down on bulk compared to other speakers) and its thin profile. The flip out stand is a bit flimsy, but it works. I agree with a previous reviewer that the stand makes it a tight fit to plug in the dock/recharge/USB cable, but I'm able to put mine on without it being too tight a fit. The sound from the speakers is loud enough to hear but of tinny quality -- what do you expect from cheap speakers? In any case, I'm not sure if it's worth $30, but $18 is a fair price and a decent value. Keep in mind that this is only for the 3G nano not the most current nano.

3 out of 5 stars Neat little device that falls short in a few areas.   December 23, 2008

We have an unused iPod Nano 3G just sitting around wasting away and I thought these speakers would make it more useful. The speakers are very compact and awesome in the way they fold down to add almost no additional size to the tiny iPod Nano 3G -- just doubles the thickness and adds a tiny bit, maybe 3/4 cm, to the length. Still reasonably tiny enough to fit into your butt pocket.

Now the cons:
Someone missed a detail in the design department. If they had added just a tiny bit more "width" to the opening at the bottom, it would be possibly easier to plug in the usb cable. Right now, in order to plug in the cable, I have to force the cable through the opening (it is a TIGHT fit), plug cable into iPod AFTER it has been threaded through the opening and then seat the iPod into position (onto speaker jack.)

The speaker quality leaves a bit to be desired. I was expecting more for a $30 set of speakers. Great for general on-the-go music.
