Product Description
Simply insert your iPod nano (4th generation) into the pocket, wrap the band around your arm or wrist, and secure it with the adjustable strap. The pocket even has space for the Nike + iPod Sport Kit receiver. Then plug your headphones into the jack and press Play. The 100 percent skip-free playback means you can run, ride, lift, and more without missing a moment of your favorite tunes.

1 out of 5 stars Know what you are getting!   January 1, 2009

I had this item on my Amazon wish list and received it for Christmas. When I opened it, it never occurred to me that I would want to return it (it was, after all, an Apple ipod Nano armband)so I threw out the packaging. Fast forward to today, one week later, when I made the switch from my old Apple armband to this one. After 15 minutes and bloody fingers, I finally was able to get my Nano into this case. Imagine my surprise when after all that effort I discovered that there was no opening for the hold/on-off button at the top! So, then I had to try to get the darn thing out of the case to turn it on. It took another ten minutes to get it out. Because I don't have the packaging, I am stuck with this thing. Since I can't get the Nano in and out of the case without requiring a trip to the emergency room, I am going to cut off the top so that I have access to the hold button and I will just leave my Nano in there. For $30 and from Apple, I expected better. After reading reviews on the Apple store site, it appears that I will probably be cutting out the plastic that covers the wheel as well.

3 out of 5 stars Good armband... nothing extraordinary   December 14, 2008

I've read bad reviews about previews Apple armbands for the ipod nano 3rd generation. But, as the time i bought this, was the only armband that was compatible with the Nike + kit, so i gave it a try.
I think that the bad reviews of previews iterations does not apply to this item. Fits comfortable to the arm, does not irritates your skin and holds your ipod firmly.
2 things make me give this item only 3 stars. First, the velcro fills like is not going to hold, and second, the plastic protecting the ipod wheel hardens the control of your music player.
If you don't find any other brand that will fit your nike plus, i think you won't regret buying this, but, there are many things to improve on this thing.

Works very good, stays in place. Only thing I didn't like about it was that the headphones have to be unplugged to remove the ipod from the case. Not a big deal though.
