We purchased this for our home entertainment system. It works great in the livingroom, anywhere in the living room. Very dependable,easy to use, plugged in the usb port and up and running. Great value. We have had this 3 months and are not sorry we bought it.

The concept is SO GREAT. The follow through is MISERABLE. The ball is way to sensitive despite any configurations I've attempted in the software. It only works reliably from about 3 feet despite any claims made by the manufacturer. Having the left click and track ball so close together causes the use of one to effect the other. If you're trying to use it on a big screen you'll only be frustrated by the lack of precision necessary for the task. Unfortunately, this was made for use in the living room where it's pretty much useless.

I know it's lame to give all five stars, but this really works well for my application as a home theater PC. I am using it at an 8 foot range with the USB dongle plugged into the front of my PC. The keys are nicely responsive and it is easy to use on your lap or coffee table. I really enjoy the mousing controls. You need to change grip on the keyboard and operate them with your thumbs, which is very comfortable, and they include a clickable scroll wheel, so you can use middle click functionality to open tabs and whatnot. The mouse tracking is not awesome... you're not going to beat a Razor gaming mouse with this thing, but don't let other reviewers dissuade you from buying this on that point; it works great to get around windows and click buttons.

the design is very good for use from you lap and access to the mouse and l/r click are very convenient. It does require a direct line of sight to p.c. and would be nice if it had R F feature. I would purchase another one for sure.

I've only had this keyboard for a couple of days now. But it is awesome!!!...I was looking at many different wireless keyboard/trackball combos. I am glad that I went with this one. I am very happy so far.
