I bought this monitor to replace my old tube type. I liked it as soon as I started using it. The styling is clean. The picure is bright, and crisp. Color seems to be vivid and right on. I have had no problems with it, nor do I expect any with the Samsung name. I wish the menu driven controls were a little friendlier though. Also the button markings are quite light, and hard to see on the glossy black plastic. It takes awhile to get use to acessing the settings, but once set, you should not have to keep readjusting. I used the auto set button with samsungs test picture, and it did a good job in making all the necessary picture ajustments for me. I sent in a $30 mail in rebate / but I am still waiting for the rebate check to arrive. Hopefully I will eventually get it, although I am beginning to have my doubts. I would recomend this monitor in your search of 20 inch wide screen choices.
