nice to look at and great picture quality July 18, 2008 Jensen Gelfond (Long Valley, NJ) I have the W2207 (same as this except with different inputs), and it goes perfectly with my black Macbook. . it is just so beautiful. Both form factor and screen. More bright than I need, I actually have to turn it down a bit. Fantastic monitor.
HP w2207h Review July 17, 2008 Leon D. Furon (Los Angeles, CA USA) I purchased this monitor because I just got an LG BluRay burner and needed a compliant monitor with HDCP to view and write BluRay. I checked several monitors at Best Buy and the HP looked the best with the best stand. I'm very pleased with the performance of the monitor but the HP software that came with it crashed my computer so I removed it and used the software that came with my new EV3A NVIDIA graphics board. This works great with the only negative that the image must be rotated 90 deg. manually when in portrait mode not automatically like with the HP software. I highly recommend this monitor.
Watch out for GLARE... July 13, 2008 John Yoga Hello Folks,
This is an absolutely beautiful monitor. I could not ask for/don't need more crisp definition, faster refresh rate, and/or more vivid colors.
There is one big problem though: GLARE
If you are like me, and have windows behind you, know that you will get enormous amount of glare. That "bright view panel" is acting like a sheet of glass.
I still give it a 5 star rating because it is such a beautiful monitor...but please be mindful of where you are going to have this monitor in relation to nearby lighting.

Excellent Buy July 7, 2008 T. Leavey (New York)
This is an excellent monitor. I bought it as the second 22" monitor in my office and is superior to the Gateway monitor I bought several years ago in every way. The colors are bright and vibrant, the rotating stand is excellent and allows great height and tilt adjustments. Finally the dual DVI / HDMI inputs allow for further flexibility, I have one connect for my CPU and another for my PS3, though it may be used as a display for a separate system as well.
Don't Use the USB ports on the side, It blew up my video card July 5, 2008 Richard Kane 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used the usb port on the monitor to power my speakers, VERY Bad Idea.. It toasted my new video card!!!!! The speakers on the monitor are WEAK, But the Picture quality is AWESOME!
