Product Description
The perfect way to keep track of your lens caps. A small button tapes onto the front of your lens cap and the elastic loop goes around the barrell of your lens so that your lens cap always remains attached, hanging from the lens. Never lose a lens cap again!

3 out of 5 stars works as advertised, but doesn't last   September 1, 2010
Kwon J. Ekstrom (NM, USA)
I ordered 3 of these in March when I replaced my lens cap. The last one gave up the ghost last week.

The first one lasted reasonably well, failing in mid/late June. The glue between the foam and the plastic failed. The second one lasted a few days before its glue also failed. The third one did the same thing, but having no more replacements I nursed it along until it was a complete loss. Additionally, the cord broke on the third one, I tied it to the elastic band, and it unraveled.

I've kept the second one because it's in good shape, except for the adhesive. I plan on gluing it to my lens cap to see what life I can get out of it, but I'll probably use something I can remove after it fails.

The short of it is this, the glue doesn't last long. I believe heat was a factor. The cord is woven and will unravel if damaged. This product works as advertised but doesn't last long. You could say that it is cheap in every sense of the word.

I don't recommend buying this product since the adhesive lasts for a week or so, then it will fall and your lens cap won't be keeped secure anymore

there's a good one at B&H

5 out of 5 stars Lifesaver and cheap too!   August 27, 2010

I love these things. This is the third one I purchased. The first was for my old Konica Minolta, which I had lost the cap to, and due to the non-standard size I had trouble finding a replacement, so when I finally did, I made sure to buy one of these. I just purchased a new Canon 7d with two lenses, so I made sure to have one for each lens! You cannot go wrong with these.

5 out of 5 stars Works like a charm   August 22, 2010

I have heard that some lens keepers don't have great adhesive. I haven't had a problem with this one, it still works great after a month of wear and tear (and I use my camera multiple times daily). The sticker came off the front but that is simply aesthetics and I don't care. I have a Canon Rebel Xs and it fits my lenses just fine. I put the elastic band around the middle of my lens and there is plenty of slack, even on my big lens (75-300mm). I'm not sure why the camera companies don't include a lens keeper with the cameras, but this is a must have product.

5 out of 5 stars Zeikos Lens Keeper- Inexpensive and Works!   August 18, 2010

Great product to keep from losing your lens cap!

I ordered 5 of these and I did not read the reviews. I am glad I did not! Product received attaches ROCK SOLID to my lens caps.

The keeper attaches to the lens cap by a round 3/8 inch piece of foam double sided tape. I have used this type of tape to permanently put decorative mirrors tiles on walls... it is very strong and lasts and lasts...

The trick is you must press it on FIRMLY!

All of the products I received were perfect without any fraying as mentioned in another review.

I am ordering 5 more because I have other uses for them like keeping batteries doors and diffusers with my external flashes.

If you have purchased this product and find that you also find the quality to also be what you expect, please rank this review so it will bubble to the top of the reviews. Right now the reviews are dated (i.e. 1 year old) and skew the ranking.

ALSO NOTE: The elastic in all these keepers deteriorate over time. I expect that after 4 to 7 years the rubber with just deteriorate.
