My older (4yr) PC was slowing down a lot, so I bought this upgrade and it did the trick. The vendor sent it right away, it was very easy to install, and my PC picked it up right on the first boot, no problems whatsoever. It's been running much better ever since, and I saved $$ not having to replace the whole PC. I'm thrilled!

I got it on time and put it in, rebooted and that was it. No problems. I decided to go with the Crucial brand because their web site lets you check to see what product best matches your computer. I bought it from Amazon because it was cheaper than at Crucial even though it shipped from Crucial.

I recently purchased a memory upgrade for desktop from Crucial Technology via Amazon. In stores prices at other retail establishents had the 1GB stick at over 100$ if it was onhand, 140$ if a special order needed to be done. Crucial via Amazon, provided the items purchased I was looking for, for a reasonable price for both the product and the shipping costs. The product was as advertised, it was 100% compatible with my pc and came very easy to understand installation instructions. I would highly recommend both Amazon and Crucial for anyone who needs purchase quality hardware or software products at a reasonable price.

My desktop, which had only 512K of RAM, was thrashing some , so I decided to upgrade. First of all, there was some disagreement about how much memory I could add. The computer spec (HP a720n) had a different mumber than the motherboard spec. After some online research and a trip to Best Buy, I ran the memory check routine at The Crucial Technology website. This said I could add 1 GB, agreeing with the motherboard spec. So, I bought this, plugged it in, and it worked.
