5 out of 5 stars Works fine, easy installation.   June 12, 2008

I had no problems with this at all, but I was worried that because my other 1 GB RAM stick is 500Mhz there would be a problem; false alarm. Great price, better than Wal-Mart's price, even.

5 out of 5 stars Good value   April 5, 2008

I added 2 of these to my existing rig, which already had 2MB of RAM. When I bought my system, PC Club wanted to charge an absurd price for this upgrade (like $160), so I decided to do it myself. It was an easy install, and I have no complaints - except maybe that the 667 speed of this RAM is perhaps on the slow side. And Windows XP Pro has as a problem recognizing more than 3MB of RAM for some reason. Right now, mine is showing 3.5MB, which doesn't make a lot of sense. I've read online that there is some kind of technical explanation for this, but it's a bit beyond my comprehension level. Either way, my computer is going a LOT faster now. Be sure to your research beforehand. It's always best to upgrade with the same kind of RAM - Don't mix-and-match. Make sure you know what you've got in your system (existing RAM, free slots, etc.) before you buy this or any RAM for an upgrade.
