| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Since mid-2003, Corsair has been involved with DDR2 development through the JEDEC association, which establishes industry standards for electronics. Its participation has allowed Corsair to be among the first companies to reach the market with DDR2 memory modules. Corsair is calling the family XMS2. Initial product offerings will look similar to the classic XMS memory. This memory significantly outperforms the fastest DDR speeds. DDR2 speed grades START where DDR hit the ceiling.Guaranteed standards- compliant! Corsair is a member of JEDEC and helped define DDR2 standards.Better signal integrity provides higher clock speeds thanks to new features at chip level, such as Off-Chip Driver calibration (OCD) and On-Die Termination (ODT).The memory features larger 4-bit prefetch, additive latency, and enhanced registers.

It Wasn't Broken! December 30, 2008 M. Krupa (Sebastian, FL) Well, after having been sent a dead stick of RAM from another online vendor, I thought I would try Amazon. Well, it shipped fine and works...that's all you can hope for with these sort of things.
DOA... what is going in on? December 23, 2008 Andres Rodriguez Solano (Florida, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this memories with other parts to assamble my gaming pc and guess what? Same as the MSI P43 Neo3-FR that I ordered... Dead On Arrival. On of the dimms works ok but the other is totally dead. I had to RMA my MSI mobo as the dimms, and buy from other place an Abit Fatal1ty mobo and OCZ dimms... Now I can play. Check well about this to be safe of the same issues.
Best Bang For Your Buck December 10, 2008 Colin Williams (So. California, USA) 4GB of ram for under $[...] after mail in rebate is too good to pass up. I just put together a new HTPC last night using these and am well pleased. Left Memtest running all night and there were no errors. DOA sticks of ram should not influence your buying decision. I have purchased DOA sticks of Corsair, Kingston, and Crucial ram over the years...when a working replacement arrives, it does the job just fine. You will most likely replace your system before a non overclocked, working stick of ram craps out on you. Bottom line, if you are not looking to overclock, this ram is a steal at the moment! You can use the money saved from not buying expensive overclockable ram to purchase a faster processor :)
Careful. December 4, 2008 Taylor D. Ashworth 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When i received these they came in two different versions. dead and fried. I'm sure there fine when they work but after spending a month replacing motherboards and processors find out these guys were the problem and by the time i find out it's too late to take em back. so not super happy.
Good So Far December 2, 2008 B. S. Sanchez 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I initially did not want to get this memory kit because of all the bad reviews. I received them and they were in perfect condition and working completely, so I am satisfied. It was also a good bargain because the mail in rebate will drop the expense to just around twenty dollars.
