I purchased this memory upgrade for an older desktop in use at home. I received it quickly, and in good condition. Installation was easy, and the detailed instructions included in the packaging would be helpful for someone unfamiliar with adding peripherals to a system. Overall, performance is good, speed of my desktop has definitely improved. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to boost their desktop memory capabilities at a (relatively) low cost.

We ordered this ram to install in a Dell Optiplex GX280 in the office. Once we installed the ram the computer was alot faster and everything was fine until yesterday when i got a call saying that the computer would not boot to the operating system and all it would show is a black screen after the DELL logo. So i figured it had to either be the ram or the video card and i told him to swap the new ones out (PNY) with the old ones that were originally in there and what do you know... It worked fine!!! So all that i can say is i would not reccomend buying this ram because it failed in three months and thats not what i had expected from this company.

I received these today for my five year old GATEWAY desktop, after one week ago, when I ordered them. I am no computer geek or "techie," but I did not want to pay an armand a leg on an installation. I installed the additional RAM the first time adding them in the two open slots (it was originally configured with 2-512meg. chips which I left alone), booted up, and computer did not recognize it in the BIOS screen. I opened up the desktop again to repeat the installation and to see that one of my tension clips had not completely snapped in. I rebooted and voila-went from 1GB to 3GB RAM in slightly less than one hour of time for the two attempts.
In this case, even a caveman can do it.

The product came within shipping dates estimated, it was well-packaged and came exactly as described. There were no marking or scratches or issues with the product. I wouldn't even be able to write this review if it weren't for this RAM in my computer! Cheaper through this user than almost anywhere else online -- exact specs I needed, no problems, no hassles. Would GLADLY buy from seller again!
