3 out of 5 stars Harry Potter Collection   January 2, 2009

So far, I haven't been able to get the Sorcerers Stone to install, but The Chamber of Secrets installed but wont let me get to the Gold cards and I'm not sure why. I've tried in two different games. NOT GOOD! VERY FRUSTRATING.

But the ordering part and the delivery part were handled very professionally

4 out of 5 stars Harry Potter Game Bundle for Mac   September 2, 2007

It's an older game but still a lot of fun! I love exploring Hogwarts while in gameplay. It's a great reminder of the early books when life was a little simpler for Harry - well as simple as Harry Potter's life could be.

4 out of 5 stars the sorcerers stone, a satisfing and fun game   June 18, 2007

I thought it was a fun game but fairly easy. If visual details matters to you a lot in a game then it would be a good idea to use it on a g4 imac because the details are very bad on a g3 computer. all so if you like hard games this may not be the game for you but maybe it was just me who found it easy. some parts take time like the sneak up and down from the tower level.

3 out of 5 stars I'm not sure it's worth the aggravation   March 8, 2007

I have not yet had the time or patience to finish the first game. I find it annoying that sometimes when you need to redo a part of the game from the last saved spot you have to endure the movie portion that leads up to the task to be completed such as fleeing the troll. Perhaps it's just me, but I find Quidditch very tedious. That said, I do enjoy learning the new spells and collectiing the jellybeans and stars and some of the dialog is quite enjoyable.

4 out of 5 stars Better than the first   December 10, 2006

As with most video games, the better the graphics, the more memory you need. If you have an old Mac, or a Mac not made for gaming (OLD iBooks, imacs and G3s), check your memory... if you have never upgraded, this game could quit. Quit ALL the other applications you might have open before running the game. That might help. OS9 is too old for most video games too. Try to have at least OS 10.2.

If you have a relatively new Mac OS, good memory, fast processor (newer, with a relatively good graphics card), this is a great game for younger kids.
