1 out of 5 stars Stay away from this manufacture   January 10, 2008
L. Salisbury
I purchased one of these drives about four months ago. It has now died. I have requested a replacement twice now and cannot obtain a response from this company. The drive was very loud until it died. I cannot recommend this drive or company. I had some very good data on the drive, which is gone now. Looking back I can say I got what I paid for a very unreliable drive for the money. Stay away from this manufacture

1 out of 5 stars Undependable   November 15, 2007

About one month into owning this product it would shut off or simply stop responding at random. Now after only 4 months it doesn't work at all. I managed to save all my personal photos, but everything else went. Of all computer products, a hard drive should be the most dependable as sometimes it's contents are irreplacable. For that I'm going to have to ignore everything about this except for the fact that it broke after only 4 months of use (4 months without being on for than a couple hours at a time and no dropping/ill treatment).

I had this HardDrive for a couple of months now and I had no problems with it. I leave it on for days sometimes weeks at a time and it does not overheat or shut off. It is well worth the buy.

Drive works ok but power-on switches off lots of times. I will ask for a replacement.
