eGo portable hard drive is system saver August 29, 2008 James Laumann (Arlington, TX USA) I purchased the Iomega eGo Portable harddrive as a back up for my laptop. Man did it help!!! My harddrive died on my laptop and if I had not backupped the primary harddrive with the eGo portable, I would have lost my work papers and documents!! Way to go Iomega!!!!!
cute, simple and effective August 29, 2008 Debi Poole (Springfield, Virginia United States) Love it - looks good and works even better. Saved me when my laptop crashed ... everything I needed was backed up on my eGo!
Nice Hard Drive August 29, 2008 The Giant Skunk (Washington, DC) Very easy to hook up and store data on. Rubberized "shock absorber" might not be totally necessary for most use such as a home office but the one time I accidentally dropped the hard drive it was nice to hear a dull thump rather than a crack as it hit the floor.
Works great so far August 28, 2008 Robert S. Finn (St. Paul) I needed an external hard drive to store my music so I could run iTunes from it (I have an Apple iBook G4 that is only 40 gigs). Based on all the positive reviews for this product I decided to buy it. It worked right out of the box and after some configuration I have my music library set up the way I want it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't actually used it much for the purpose intended. But so far so good.
Good! August 24, 2008 SAULO JR P. Biscoto (Belo Horizonte, MG Brazil) Good external HD which has been working perfectly. Good feel and finish quality product. It comes with a good back up software. The 4 stars are just because of 2 drawbacks: the cable is too short and the actual memory is not 250 GB. It's normal to HDs not have available the exact amount of GB but this one took more than 10 GBs!
