Great November 24, 2008 Chase A. Matthies The item is very good for people who do not play hard core video games such as Crysis or Warhammer. If you like oldies but goodies. this video card is the right one for you. Get this or a 8000+ series
Good performance. A little bit high price November 1, 2007 Luis Alberto Rodriguez (CARACAS, DTO FEDERAL Venezuela) The card has good performance, although the installing process can be a little long and it is better to download the latest drivers. Also, I found (later) that Amazon's price is a litlle higher that other online stores.
Great price and performance, fan rather loud June 28, 2007 A. B. Quintanar (Indianapolis, IN USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This card is better then its much more recommended 7300GT cousin. The fan actually works quite well and the video card never breaks 70 C even at full load. The only problem is that the fan is quite loud for such a low end card. It made my whisper quiet tower hum constantly with the whoosh of fan noise.
Product works great with Vista June 14, 2007 baluscher (Chandler, AZ USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This graphics card was an extemely easy install under Windows Vista. I just disabled my onboard video, shut the computer down, installed the card and rebooted. Vista recognized the card and installed drivers automatically.
I had purchased a DVI to HDMI adapter previously from Amazon ($12), so I didn't use the 7 prong S-video to component video adapter in the box, although I probably would get good video from that as well. I use the video principally to watch recorded TV from HDTV over the air and basic cable and its quality is great. It also delivers better resolution thatn VGA for my use of the Interenet.
