Silent and Fast but runs hot May 21, 2008 W. Stohler (Honolulu, HI USA) This card looks great (both the card and the monitor image), runs fast (I'm not a gamer), but runs very hot to the touch. Passive cooling with heat sinks and heat pipes. The black heat sink is VERY close to other components on the motherboard; I'll have to remove the card temporarily if I want to add more RAM as it blocks three of my four slots.
Excellent performance for a reasonable price April 7, 2008 Johnny B (Costa Rica) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It works great. Installed with and Athlon X2 4200, 2x1GB DDR2 800. Now I am able to Run Oblivion At full game settings, If you want to mess more with the Catalyst options and force Antialias with HDR for example, then you start loosing FPS (but still playable), anyway, I am not one of those and it looks great, I also have Sega Rally Revo and that runs smooth at full settings with 2x antialias. I am happy with the card and cannot complain about it, It did not cost too much and performs better than expected. The 3650 512mb ddr3 does the job in an excellent way. Excellent upgrade for me since I was using the x1250 embedded on my Asus MoBo.
