I had 3GB manufactured in my Laptop already, however, I wanted to expand the system memory to speed things up a bit. It did. The only problem is to get full functionality of your 4GB, you have to install a 64 bit operating system, which luckily I had both a 32 bit and a 64 bit version of the product on hand, otherwise, you might end up having to go out and buy a 64 bit operating system. upgraded to dell e 1505. though dell says that i can only upgrade to 2 gb in total but i added this one and it works perfectly.

Test
Installation of this memory improved the performance of my HP DV6226 US, my note book earlier had only 1GB memory and was running vista, this installation increased it to 1.5 GB only, however I was still able to feel the difference

Great price, does what it is supposed to do, easy to install. No complaints. This is the second time I have bought this brand of RAM, would buy from this brand again if I ever needed more RAM, but both my computers are maxed out so it'll be awhile.
